| "Keyblades! Everywhere!" screamed Sora.
"Yea, I was suprised too. It looks like an empty desert but if we just walk a little further we come to this! Millions of keyblades." included Roxas.
"Its funny." Sora settled himself down. "It feels like im dreaming...like im not awake...but at the same time, I can feel the sun touching my skin and the sand dusting across my feet, heh."
"Yea...I know the feeling."
"But wow, look at all these keyblades."
"The way I see it, Sora, is that these keyblades are formed differently by the memories of your heart. For example! This one." Roxas points to the oathkeeper.
"This one was made when Kairi gave you her lucky charm. So, your heart made a keyblade form of that memory using the charm. Look at how many you have."
"Yea I know...but what are they all for?"
"Im not sure what its for...just how they're made." Roxas laughed.
"Well Ill keep this in mind, I had this feeling, earlier today, that maybe things arnt as wrapped up as king Mickey says they are. Somethings going to happen."
"Sora, Just remember what I told you. About the Unbalance of the heart. Darkness is born within every heart...but as soon as you got home to Destiny Islands...yours was gone."
Sora stared to the ground. "Hmm.."

| That night Sora found it hard to sleep. He felt anxious for something, as if a whole new adventure were to begin. He tried his hardest to sleep in the humidity. Eventually he forced himself to relax and slowly sleep in the bed that he had abandon for so long.
Sora began to open his eyes. It still felt like the middle of the night but there was an intense light in his eyes. He struggled to open them.
"Long time, no see. Sora." said a familiar voice.
"Roxas?"
"Haha, sure is."
Sora tasted dirt in his mouth and immediatly opened his eyes and stood up. He dusted all the dirt off of his clothes and looked around. It was a wasteland, a completely empty desert. However, Roxas still looked the same.
"Sora. What can you see?"
"Well...nothing."
"Thats right. Remember DiZ?" Roxas began to pace around Sora knowingly "Well once he told me something...I didnt think it meant anything important but after seeing this...it matters more than I thought."
"What matters? Roxas, what am I doing here?"
"This is a place, deep in your heart Sora."
"Im in my heart?"
"Thats right, and look. There nothing to be found....just an intense light. Anyway, DiZ once said that you were too kind for your own good. In other words...you have too much light...for your own good."
"...Light. But light is good."
"Darkness is equally as good. Light and darkness balance eachother out. But right now...your just filled with light."
"But I dont understand what this means" said Sora.
"Neither do I. But I thought Id let you know to be safe. Im not how this happened or why, but it does mean that if you dont do something about it. You will be consumed by it."
"Your saying the light...will take my body...just as darkness does." finished Sora.
"Thats right, now Im not gunna let you leave just yet theres one more thing I want you to see."
"Aww!! Your as bad as Riku!"
Roxas laughed.

| " Why are you taking me to the secret place for?" asked Sora.
" The door in here. We never used to pay attention to it when we played in here. But everytime I looked hard enough I could see it." said Riku.
"See what?"
"The Keyhole...You never saw it, did you?"
"Well...no. The door was always bare, but it opened when the world got destroyed. When I saw Kairi." Sora stared at the ground.
"Ok, now look." Riku curled his hand to a fist and held it at his heart. Sora looked up at Riku and then focused on the door. Riku closed his eyes and spoke. " For some reason...theres a connection. When Destiny Islands got destroyed...The keyblade, I could hear it. I didnt know what it meant but I could hear it." he exhaled. "But I chose the darkness over the light." he slowly turned to look Sora in the eyes.
"Riku, are you saying-"
"I was destined to be the keyblade master. me seeing the keyhole. It was a sign Sora. Then again, maybe it was destiny for us to work together."
"Oh." Sora smiled. "I understand."
Riku smlied back. "You've probably guessed. My keyblade wont unlock it. Only yours."
Sora continued. "And if you can show the keyhole. I can unlock the door. That way, two best friends. Two destinies. Our paths are crossed."

| The sun was setting. Its been a day without talking to Riku, Sora thought. Its been nothing less than awkward. Sora could tell that Riku was thinking of a way off this island. But why did he want to leave so bad? Sora and Kairi say at the end of the pier just like the used to. "I'm scared for Riku. I mean we could give it one more try, build a raft." began Kairi.
"I did get your letter...But how did it work? It just drifted from here to the world of darkness." Replied Sora.
"Well...If i had to guess, our hearts are connected right? The light in our hearts reached eachother. Therefore, you recieved what I wanted to give you."
Sora smiled. "So...a raft then?"
Kairi laughed "A raft it is."
"We'll tell Riku!" Said Sora as he jumped into his small canoe.
Sora walked up to Riku who was on the small play island, sitting on the Paupu tree. "Riku! Hey Riku!"
Sora ran up infront of him. "Yea?"
"Remember when you saw the letter? The letter from Kairi? That could have been a connection of hearts...if me connect our hearts with say...the king, then maybe we could get off the island on our own free will!"
"It doesnt work like that Sora. Why were you travelling on a gummi ship all that time?"
"I-we-uh-well."
Riku smirked.
"It was a connection. But it was Kairi's heart at its strongest. She believed that it would reach you so much that it did."
"Well, have you thought of anything?"
"Sora. Come here."
Riku jumped off the trunk and walked over the bridge.
"I wanna show you something." he finished.
